On Saturday, May 30, The Black Crowes’ Chris and Rich Robinson will perform a quarantined concert as the inaugural edition of Live Nation Canada and Budweiser’s series ‘Budweiser Stage At Home.’
The Crowes will begin their one-hour set at 8 p.m. ET. They will be performing from their respective homes. In addition, Canadian band The Trews will perform a socially-distanced set from Toronto’s Iguana Studios.
The Black Crowes were scheduled to perform at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage this summer as part of their Shake Your Money Maker reunion tour; sadly, all of those dates have been postponed to 2021.
To tune in to ‘Budweiser Stage At Home,’ head to Livenation.com.au/livefromhome or Citytv.com.

Kate Hudson’s dog
May 27, 2020 at 5:06 pmSo much dislike for somebody you have never met… haters everywhere I guess. I always thought the music was solid in almost all cases and that’s really all that concerns me. Whatever on who he was with and what may have gone up his nose, not my concern.

May 27, 2020 at 9:39 amI’m certain neither of these guys lose any sleep over Jambands dot com forum posts. Love the quotes from early 90s that people dig up too. Let’s pile on them for what they might have said 30 years ago when they were in their early 20s.

May 26, 2020 at 6:14 pmfucking fraudulent motherfuckers. all their talk of resisting corporate America and not being for sale was clearly its own version of a corporate marketing strategy all of those years. how long before we see the Black Crowes touring with Foreigner?

May 26, 2020 at 3:38 pmSounds like Punch and Judy must have started spending some of that sweet reunion tour cash before it started, and now get to grovel with their sorry ass hats in hand.

May 26, 2020 at 2:46 pmDidn’t they get kicked off a tour with ZZ Top 30 years ago because Chris refused to be sponsored by Budweiser?

May 26, 2020 at 2:44 pmDidn’t the Black Crowes get booted off their opening slot on a ZZ Top tour for talking shit about Budweiser sponsoring the tour?

May 26, 2020 at 2:48 pmUpdate to add it was Miller Beer, not Budweiser after I confirmed it from a 1991 article about the incident: As Robinson told it last week on Rockline: “They (Lone Wolf and Miller Brewing Company) were upset. I understand them being defensive about corporate sponsorship. But we’re not sponsored by anyone. We’re the Black Crowes. We feel it’s important to be able to say whatever you want.

September 11, 2020 at 7:33 pmYep, and made the Cover of Rolling Stone over it. That was coming up when all that mattered was the music. Now they have lifestyles to support. I’m sitting it out, phantasmagoria is an illusion. “When fame and fortune becomes more important than the music itself, the music knows.” -C.R. circa 1992.
Peace.
