For this week’s edition of their ‘One More Saturday Night’ broadcast series, Dead & Company will showcase their Halloween 2019 show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The show was the first of Dead & Co.’s 2019 ‘Fall Fun Run.’ It was also the first show they performed since longtime Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter passed away. As a tribute, the band performed two full sets containing only songs that Hunter had co-written, including an emotional “Ripple” opener that only featured the four original Grateful Dead members.
For the encore, the band nodded to Halloween by performing their cover of Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London.” Check out a fan-shot video of that performance below, as well as the complete setlist.

May 26, 2020 at 6:48 amMickey Hart eats a bowl of dicks. Shitty drummer, shittier human. Sad that people don’t know his trip and that he has been allowed to ride on Jerry’s coat tails. Very sad.

May 24, 2020 at 10:51 amContains artificial Garcia. Known to cause listeners to loose taste in high quality original music. One side affect has been anoticable increase in DSO fans. This alone is a sign that you have lost all taste in quality original music and should seek the advice of a shaman or ingest atleast 5 grams of mushrooms. Fuck this band, go to see live original music.

May 24, 2020 at 6:01 amExactly, Minnie Mouse was not an original member. Indeed, many have long wished he was *never* a member, but I digress…

May 23, 2020 at 1:24 pmButtfuckles McTwatt and his buddies in Ankle Bracelet could open the show with a 47 minute version of Loose Lucy (if you know what I mean and I think you do!) The show would have to be held at least 500 yards from the nearest middle school. (See Gordo Banjo story for more details)
