After being forced to postpone their Spring Tour dates due to coronavirus, Dark Star Orchestra has announced that 12 of the 13 dates have been rescheduled.
“We Will Get By!” the band wrote in a statement. “Dark Star Orchestra has battled many thunderstorms, snowstorms, illnesses, broken down trucks and buses but like you, we have never experienced anything like this before.”
“As firm believers in the ‘Show Must Go On’ we have only canceled a handful of 2,981 shows over 22 years,” the statement continued. “In the last two weeks, we’ve postponed 13 shows and there may be more to come. Fortunately, we have been able to reschedule 12 of these shows.”
See a complete list of rescheduled shows (along with their original dates) below.

March 27, 2020 at 9:35 amBands often keep their history as members change. That’s nothing new.
As to the current members, 3 of them have been with DSO for 19 + years. Perhaps not the founding members but certainly there for the vast majority of the shows they’ve played.
Do you attack all the other tribute bands out there too for trying to spread music they love and maybe make a living doing it?

March 27, 2020 at 9:12 am2981 Shows? That number does not reflect the current bands streak at all. There is not One original member of Dso in the band now and hasnt been in years!! But taking credit for other peoples works and accomplishments. Is what Dso does!!
