After 15 years together, Yeasayer – made up of Anand Wilder, Chris Keating and Ira Wolf Tuton – have announced that they will be breaking up.
“We have decided that Yeasayer has reached its end,” wrote the band on their Instagram page. “It is a decision that has not been made lightly or swiftly, but the three of us agree that it is the right one at the right time.”
Yeasayer formed in Brooklyn, N.Y. in 2006; during their career, they released five studio albums, including their 2007 debut All Hour Cymbals and Erotic Reruns this year.
