Vision Explored, the psychedelic-leaning, Michigan-based outfit lead by multi-instrumentalist Ben Freedman, has shared a new track featuring late guitarist Neal Casal, who passed away unexpectedly last week.

The sprawling instrumental composition, titled “Be the Light,” features Casal on lead guitar and will appear on Vision Explored’s upcoming album, which also includes guests like drummer Billy Martin and saxophonist Skerik.

“It meant the world to me. Always will,” Freedman says of Casal’s visit to his studio session for the track. “I named it a long time ago, but it’s even more meaningful to me now.”
