This week, Paul Simon performed his first Hawaiian gigs since 1968, playing the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The latter show featured a surprise appearance by Michael McDonald, who joined Simon for an encore of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Cecilia” (the singer’s first since 2016), including pieces of Billy Preston’s “Will It Go Round In Circles.”
