Dawes have announced they will release a special 10th anniversary vinyl edition of their debut album, North Hills, Sept. 6 via ATO Records, along with a full-album performance of the effort at the upcoming Newport Folk Festival this weekend.

The deluxe 10th anniversary edition includes two vinyl LPs with a gold foil–stamped cover, the 2009 promo poster and a 7″ single vinyl featuring a duo of unreleased B-sides, “All My Failures” and “Wilderness.” On the inclusion of the “new” tracks, Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith says, “We figured at the time that ‘Wilderness’ and ‘All My Failures’ didn’t fit with the rest of the tunes, but now it’s hard to remember why we thought that. Listening back now, these recordings of these songs seem to share the same North Hills DNA as the original 11 and it feels good to get them out into the world.”

Dawes will perform North Hills in its entirety this Saturday, July 27, at Rhode Island’s Newport Folk Festival, with a number of unannounced special guests helping out.
