Much to the delight of their fans, Phish have released a pro-shot video of their 38-minute “Ruby Waves” from their celebrated third night at Winconsin’s Alpine Valley.

“Ruby Waves” originally appeared as a part off of guitarist Trey Anastasio’s Ghosts of the Forest project, and it was debuted by Phish proper on June 18, 2019.

This extended Alpine Valley version marked the the seventh-longest single-song jam in the Phish’s history and longest improv of the 3.0 era.

It came early in the band’s second set, and stood impressively alongside other highlights like the first “Olivia’s Pool” since November 11, 1997 (show gap: 692) and a dark, drool-themed “Icculus,” played last during the JEMP Truck Set on December 31, 2013.
