Named after Radiohead’s In Rainbows track “Weird Fishes/Arpeggi,” Weird Phishes is a Massachusetts-based project that fuses the work of the groundbreaking experimental indie band with the music of Phish.
On July 5 and 6, to keep the party going after Phish’s nearby run at the historic Fenway Park, Weird Phishes will play two shows at Lucky Strike Social.
The gigs will be totally free and, according to the band, “these two special performances will feature unique, surprise setlists, injecting the unmistakeable energy of Phish into a career-spanning selection of Radiohead hits and deep cuts alike. Music begins at 10:30 or as soon as Phish ends.”
