After six years of waiting and rumors, Vampire Weekend fans finally have some new music from the band, along with confirmation that their new album, titled Father of the Bride, will be released this spring via Columbia Records.

Frontman Ezra Koenig and company have shared two tracks from the effort, “Harmony Hall” and “2021,” both of which come together to display VW’s tried and true aesthetic of sometimes rich, sometimes sparse instrumentation (one song of each, in this case) all centered around Koenig’s malleable vocals. In a more specific throwback, “Harmony Hall” even contains a lyrical reference to the band’s song “Finger Back” off 2013’s Modern Vampires of the City, their last release.

Father of the Bride will comprise 18 tracks in total and was produced by Koenig and Ariel Rechtshaid, along with some production help from former Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij.
