Pulling a lyric from Phish’s “Fluff’s Travels,” Queens, NY-based brewery Singlecut will debut their Mellifluous Life IPA next week just in time for the Vermont quartet’s New Year’s Run at Madison Square Garden.

“…there’s no better audience than a Phish show,” Singlecut wrote in their announcement. “Attentive, community loving, mad dancing throngs of people having a great time together.”

According to the brewery, the Mellifluous Life IPA will have “a big aroma of juicy orange, peachy goodness, and a little dank resin.”

Starting Thursday, Dec. 27, the new brew will be available at both of their breweries (19-33 37th St, Astoria, NY and 6 Fairchild Square, Clifton Park, NY) as well as at certain beer distributors within Madison Square Garden (TBD).

When MSG asked us to brew a special beer for the Phish NYE shows, we were stoked, mostly because through all the COUNTLESS shows over countless genres and venues, there’s no better audience than a Phish show. Attentive, community loving, mad dancing throngs of people having a great time together. “It’s like a college reunion for a school you don’t remember going to”, and the shows at MSG are special.

So we’re honored to present MELLIFLUOUS LIFE IPA, our IPA made for the NYE shows next week, with a big aroma of juicy orange, peachy goodness, and a little dank resin.

Cans will be available at both breweries starting next Thursday and in MSG (exact locations to be announced).
