Pink Talking Fish wrapped up their fall tour this weekend, and the tripartite tribute group welcomed a couple of special guests during their two-set performance at Chicago’s Park West, including guitarist Marcus Rezak and young vocalist Eliza Lampert.
Lampert, who happens to be the powerful-voiced 12-year-old cousin of PTF’s Eric Gould, trains with School of Rock Chicago. She emerged during the band’s first set on Friday to lend her voice to covers of Pink Floyd’s “Have a Cigar” and Talking Heads’ “Take Me to the River.” Set two kicked off with a cover of a new Phish tune from the band’s Halloween Kasvot Växt set, “Say It to Me S.A.N.T.O.S.,” and featured a run of Pink Floyd’s “Great Gig in the Sky” with Rezak on guitar.
See the full setlist below, along with video of Lampert’s sit in via the band. Next up for Pink Talking Fish is a run of East Coast shows leading up to New Year’s Eve in Washington, DC. See the band’s full schedule here.
