Béla Fleck and Abigail will continue to support their latest album Echo in the Valley with a number of winter and early spring tour dates, taking the banjo power couple from the West Coast to to the East Coast in the months of December, January, February and April.
The new dates kick off on December 6 in Los Angeles, kicking off a six-show run in the state, before the duo heads to the Southeast in January, the Midwest in February and the Northeast in April. See the full schedule below.
Fleck and Washburn have also shared a new video for two Echo in the Valley tracks, “Come All You Coal Miners” (penned by early-20th-century Appalachian singer-songwriter Sarah Ogan Gunning) and “Take Me to Harlan.” The video was made in collaboration with dance troupe Pilobolus and interprets Gunning’s song about coal worker’s rights as a ghost story, interspersing shadowy video of the dancers and musicians in a studio with footage of Fleck and Washburn out for a drive with their son.
