In support of their first album of all original material in five years, There’s A Riot Going On, Yo La Tengo have announced a number of September dates in the US.

The band will play some West Coast dates this summer, and after they make a stop in Europe they will return in mid-September for a show in Providence, RI’s Columbus Theatre. Yo La Tengo will eventually head to the Mid-West, making stops in Detroit and Cleveland before they close things out in Austin, Tx.

“I want to express our group as positively fighting for what we believe in, rather than tearing down what we don’t,” Ira Kaplan recently told Relix.
