Tuesday night during Foo Fighters’ concert at the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, OR, frontman Dave Grohl orchestrated a mini reunion of surviving Nirvana band members, welcoming bassist Krist Novoselic on stage for a tune.

Novoselic, who along with Grohl and the late Kurt Cobain formed the iconic grunge trio, came up for Foo Fighters’ “Big Me.” The reunion was augmented by the presence of Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear, who played with Nirvana as a touring rhythm guitarist from 1993 until Cobain’s death in 1994 and appeared on their live album MTV Unplugged in New York.
