Dawes will release their third album Stories Don’t End on April 9. The band left ATO Records last year and have decided to release the new album through their own label in conjunction with Q Prime, their management company. Stories Don’t End was recorded over five weeks in Asheville, NC last September. As previously reported, Dawes are currently playing on the Cayamo Music Cruise. The band have also scheduled a few shows with Dr. Dog in Portland, OR and Seattle, WA for April 26 and 28 respectively. They will be announcing more spring and summer 2013 tour dates in the near future. You can check out the feature article on Dawes from the July/August 2011 issue of Relix here.
