Keller Williams was joined by Keith Moseley, Bill Nershi and Kyle Hollingsworth of The String Cheese Incident for night one of his two-night “End of the World” run at Warren Station in Keystone, CO on December 21. Moseley, Hollingsworth and Dave Watts played with him the following night at the same venue. Night one included covers of Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild,” R.E.M.‘s “End of the World As We Know It” and the Grateful Dead’s “Friend of the Devil,” as well as renditions of SCI songs like “Texas,” “Black Clouds” and “Little Hands.” On night two, the group covered the Grateful Dead’s “Shakedown Street,” “Eyes of the World” and The Buttehole Surfers’ “Pepper.” As previously reported, Williams will join the Travelin’ McCoury’s (with whom he released a joint album, Pick, earlier this year) and the Del McCoury Band at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works on New Year’s Eve.
