Warren Haynes Band/Royal Family singer Alecia Chakour is currently in the midst of a residency at New York’s Rockwood Music Hall Stage2. This evening Chakour will led an all-star band at the club, featuring her brother Alex Chakour, as well as Neal Evans (Soulive), Sam Cohen (Yellowbirds/Apollo Sunshine), Miles Arntzen (Antibalas) and Cochemea Gastelum (Dap-Kings, 20th Congress). This will be the third time Chakour has performed at Rockwood the first Monday of the month. Doors for the show are set for 9:45, and the group will perform at 10pm sharp. Haynes is currently in California for the grand reopening of Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads Grate Room.
