Vienna VA’s Jammin Java will host a night of ‘late night jams” this evening, March 2. The night will kick off with a 90-minute set by Furthur guitarist John Kadlecik and Djesben, a trio of multi-instrumentalists with roots in traditional jazz, bebop, bossa nova and world music. Warren Haynes Band saxophonist Ron Holloway will then close the show as part of the local music collective Covered with Jam. The ensemble will bring together a number of Washington, DC and Virginia-based musicians with ties to the funk, jazz, jam, rock and blues scenes. Doors are at 9:30 Pm and music will stretch past 1:30 AM.
