Roger Waters has posted a video to Facebook, which references a number of sports and activities in the context of his upcoming world tour. He jokes that he will bring The Wall to New Zealand for the trout fishing. Then he indicates that he will perform in South American soccer stadiums because there are no appropriate indoor arenas otherwise built for hockey and basketball. Then he expresses excitement about performing in ballparks in the United States, explaining that the production is being tailored for these new locales (he also indicates that he once played golf with Chicago Cubs’ ballplayer and broadcaster Ron Santo). In this context he indicates that he has reassessed his prior distaste for large outdoor shows, which he once felt alienated him from the audience but that he has changed his tune due to technological advances.
