Former Allman Brothers Band drummer David “Frankie” Toler died on June 4 after a prolonged illness that included two liver transplants. Now his brother, guitarist Dan Toler, has recently revealed that his own case of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease) has taken a turn for the worse. A benefit show will take place on Saturday August 13 at Aces Live in Bradenton, FL to help assist Toler. The guitarist will appear along with many of his friends and associates. A Facebook page has been created with additional details on this event.
