The Del McCoury Band will welcome fans into the studio for the first time this spring. From May 2-4, The Del McCoury Band will allow the public into Nashville, TN’s Sound Emporium’s Studio A for a series of sessions facilitated by the Music Producers Institute. On Monday May 2, MPI founder and Grammy-winner Steve Fishell will lead fans through a day-long record production seminar, and on May 3 and 4 The Del McCoury Band will track and record a set of songs. Emporium’s Studio A has hosted the likes of Robert Plant and Bob Dylan and served as a backdrop for the Oh Brother, Where Art Thou soundtrack.
