As first reported by our friends at Hidden Track, Mike Gordon and his percussionist Craig Myers sat in with The Rhythm Devils at South Burlington, VT’s Higher Ground Saturday night. Gordon and Myers emerged on bass and djemb, respectively, for “Fire On The Mountain,” “Scarlet Begonias, “Goin’ Down The Road Feeling Bad,” “And We Bid You Goodnight” and “See You Again” at the end of the ensemble’s show. Gordon was a member of the Rhythm Devils when Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart first revived the band name in 2006. The Grateful Dead offshoot’s current lineup also includes: Tim Bluhm (guitar, vocals), Davy Knowles (guitar, vocals), Sikiru Adepoju (talking drum) and Andy Hess (bass).
