Bela Flecks new documentary, Throw Down Your Heart, traces the veteran banjo players trip to Africa with his brother, filmmaker Sascha Paladino. The film has been showing at New Yorks IFC Center since late April where Fleck himself christened the movie by playing a medley of songs for viewers. The film will run at the IFC through May 14 at the IFC, before moving to Los Angeles Laemmles Music Hall from June 5-11.
