Over 40 acts from around the world will come together for Canadas Evolve Music and Awareness Festival. The three-day event will take place just outside Antigonish, Nova Scotia from July 17-19, offering a mix of indie and jam-leaning artists. Groups scheduled to appear include: Xavier Rudd, Jon Lajoie, The New Deal, A.Skillz ,Mat The Alien, The King Khan & BBQ Show, Shout Out Out Out Out, Elite Force, Mishka and That 1 Guy. In addition, Slowcoaster, The Sleepless Nights, Myagi and Root Sellers feat. Jorah Kai, House Of David Gang, Sonny D, Gratefully Deadicated Sound System, Caledonia and Valery Gore will all appear. According to festival promoters, Evolve Festival is a grassroots festival that has grown to become a showcase for music, a forum for environmental awareness, and a celebration of the beauty that is uniquely Maritime. It is entirely dedicated to sustainable environmental stewardship – the largest festival of its kind in Canada. Besides offering an amazing music experience, Evolve is committed to being one of Canada’s greenest events.
