It appears to be a busy day for festival announcements. The Village Voice has confirmed the lineup for the 9th annual Siren Music Festival. The free event will return to Coney Island, Brooklyn on July 18 and will feature performances by Built to Spill, The Raveonettes,
Frightened Rabbit, Grand Duchy, Monotonix, Micachu & the Shapes. A handful of additional acts and guest DJs will be confirmed in the coming months. This will be the first Siren Music festival since the closure of the festivalís backdrop, Coney Islandís famed Astroland.
