Steve Kimock began performing with guitarist Billy Goodman in the mid-1970s as members of the Goodman Brothers Band. Last spring the two musicians released Big Red Barn Sessions, which also featured Kimock’s son John Morgan on drums, bassist Peter Fritz and Jim Kost on Hammond B3. Over this past weekend in Florida, Kimock brought out Goodman to sit in with his current project, Crazy Engine. Goodman appeared at the close of set one at Revolution in Ft. Lauderdale for ‘One For Brother Mike’ and ‘Slow Down.’ Next up for Crazy Engine is a show on Tuesday at the Georgia Theatre.
