Michael Kang wrapped up a three show run with Particle this past weekend in St. Louis. The musicians appeared there as part of the Loyal Earth Festival on a bill that also featured Eliot Lipp, Speakeasy and Organic Proof. Just prior to Particle’s set, bassist Eric Gould appeared with Organic Proof throughout their performance. A bit later, Particle brought out the members of Organic Proof on percussion at the outset of their second set for a cover of ‘Crosseyed and Painless.’ Particle’s performance drew on its classic material including ‘Launchpad,’ ‘The Golden Gator,’ ‘Ed + Molly,’ ‘The Elevator’ and ‘Sun Mar 11.’ The group likely will revisit these songs when it appears with guest guitarist Josh Clark at the Fox Theater in Boulder on May 1.
