On February 13, The Joe Russo Quartet will make its public debut at New Yorks Sullivan Hall. In addition to Russo, the group will feature the drummers former Fat Mama bandmates Erik Deutsch (keyboardist) and Jonathan Goldberger (guitar), as well as Ani DiFranco bassist Todd Sickafoose. Since Fat Mama parted ways, both Goldberger and Deutsch have been active on the New York-area club circuit, with the later musician also contributing keys to the Charlie Hunter Trio. Meanwhile, Russo will perform with the Gene Ween Band at Philadelphias World Cafive this coming Tuesday.
