Ben Harper will bring his new band Relentless 7 to the East Coast for the first time to play Warren Haynes Christmas Jam. Other recent additions to the benefits lineup include Robben Ford, Patterson Hood and Christmas Jam staple Edwin McCain. These acts join an already stacked bill featuring the Allman Brothers Band, John Paul Jones, Travis Tritt, The Del McCoury Band, The Derek Trucks Band, Ivan Nevilles Dumpstaphunk and Joan Osborne. As previously reported, Patterson Hood recently sat in with Govt Mule in Minneapolis on a cover of Neil Youngs Cortez the Killer.
Christmas Jam will celebrate its 20th anniversary December 12-13. The event will once again take place at Asheville, NCs Asheville Civic Center Arena.
