With the election looming, the documentary film A Call To Action has been made available for free streaming at SnagFilms. The 48 minute documentary tracks the efforts of HeadCount to register voters since its formation in 2004. The film includes interviews with such artists as co-founder Marc Brownstein, board members Bob Weir and Al Schnier, along with Trey Anastasio, Dave Matthews, Warren Haynes, John Medeski, O.A.R., Bela Fleck and Sound Tribe Sector 9. Chris Gaspar directed the film which he also produced, along with Andy Bernstein and Kaleem Clarkson.
