While the Gathering the Vibes currently is underway in Bridgeport, Connecticut, an altogether different Gathering is taking place in Janesville, Wisconsin. Cosmic Railroad, a Wisconsin-based sextet, is hosting its Third Annual Cosmic Railroad Family Gathering. Music will take place on Friday and Saturday, with Family Groove Company, The Hill Climbers, Sarah Vonderhaar, American Folk, SLM, Day to Day, B-Funk Family and Big Sky String Band also on the bill. The host band will then close out each day. The Cosmic Railroad Family Gathering will take place at Camp Rotamer, with details at the Cosmic Railroad site.
