The Trinumeral festival began on January 1, 2001 and is held annually on the date in which the day, month, and year align in an auspicious numeric sameness. In 2008, this means the event is set for August 8 (through the 10th) in Deerfields, NC. The latest additions to the festival line-up include Conspirator, GZA, Particle, Pnuma Trio (performing a live PA set), DJ Le Spam (of Spam All Stars), Telepath, The Afromotive, Snake Oil Medicine Show, The New Familiars and Perpetual Groove alum Matt MacDonald, who will appear with SeepeopleS and offer a solo live PA set. These artists join a line-up that already includes Galactic with Boots Riley, Lotus, Kaki King, Midnite, Danny Bedrosian and Secret Army, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Dubconscious and The Mahavishnu Project. Tickets and additional details can be found at the Trinumeral site.
