Jambands.com/Relix scribe Brad Farberman is the brains behind a new monthly experimental/jazz series at Brooklyn, NYs Galapagos Art Space. The first installment in This Is Our Music will take place on March 5, featuring performances by the Burnt Sugar the Arkestra Chamber, Sabir Mateens Omni-Sound, Farbermans own Sabir Mateens Omni-Sound and Jessica Luries current ensemble. The latter group boasts a particularly intriguing lineup, including Daniel Carter (saxophones, trumpet, flute, clarinet), Andrew Drury (drums, toys) and former Fat Mama mainstay Jonathan Goldberger (guitar).
