Singer/songwriter Martin Sexton has shared the stage with the members of Deep Banana Blackout a handful of times over the years, most notably at the seminal northeast festival Gathering of the Vibes. He also shares a more permanent link with the group now that Deep Banana Blackouts Cy Madan plays keyboards in his band. On Saturday Sexton performed at New Haven, CTs Toads Place and brought out yet another Deep Banana Blackout member, saxophonist Rob Somerville, for his entire set. Highlights included Happy, Will It Go Round In Circles, Black Sheep and Thank You Failure. Sexton will appear at Torontos The Mod Club on September 19.
