Dave Matthews Band returned to Mansfield, MAs Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts last evening and once again brought out some familiar faces. Trumpeter Rashawn Ross, who continues to earn his stripes as an adjunct member of the group, once again was on stage for most of the night. In addition, opener Xavier Rudd, who had stepped up for two water songs on Wednesday, joined in for a tune that also references liquid (albeit of a distilled nature): Bartender. Meanwhile, Sam Kininger, who also appeared on Wednesday, went aquatic last night, as he added sax to Black Water (and also to Tripping Billies). DMB is off tonight and then the group will perform at the New England Dodge Music Center in Hartford on Saturday and Sunday.
