A number of additional artists have been confirmed for Jam Cruise 6. Chief among the additions is moe.s Al Schnier, who will make his Jam Cruise debut collaborating with bassist Ron Johnson, mandolin-ace Jeff Austin, drummer Jon Fishman and keyboardist Robert Walter on a brand new project. While many of the cruises collaborations still remain a mystery, a few impending sit-ins have been confirmed: artist-at-large Robert Walter will perform with Stanton Moore, ALOs Dan Lebowitz will play a set with Magic Gravy (which features the Motets Dave Watts and Garrett Sayer), Ivan Neville will join Jam Cruise veteran Karl Denson for one of the ships trademark super jams and Mike Dillon and Skerik, who will likely contend for the weekends collaboration award, will perform together as a duo.
Jam Cruise 6, which will sail to Roatan, Honduras and Costa Maya, Mexico in January, is now sold out. Promoters Cloud 9 Adventures have established a waiting list on Jam Cruises webpage. As previously reported, the 2,000-person cruise will feature Warren Haynes, Michael Franti & Spearhead, funky METERS, Yonder Mountain String Band, Galactic, Dark Star Orchestra and Soulive, among others
