The 9th Annual Taos Solar Music Festival will take place from June 29-July 1 at Taos New Mexicos Kit Carson Park. The festivals lineup includes a variety of rootsy performers, including Michael Franti & Spearhead, John Butler Trio, Los Lobos and Big Head Todd & the Monsters, among others. Each year the Taos Solar Music Festival celebrates sun and renewable energy, and continues to be the festival of choice for music fans around the country who share an environmental consciousness and zealousness about this community we call Earth. As in years past the festival will host a free/open to the public Solar Village, which is located on Solar Fest grounds and will feature booths and demonstrations designed to inform and expose alternative and renewable energy sources and solutions.
