Music Farmers: Sowing the Seeds of Americana is the documentary film that captures Florida’s MagnoliaFest and Suwannee Springfest. Bela Fleck, Col. Bruce Hampton, JJ Grey, Rev. Jeff Mosier, Jim Lauderdale, the Duhks, Peter Rowan, and the late Vassar Clements are among the artists who appear in the film, which has been selected to screen at this years Jacksonville Film Festival. Music Farmers is scheduled for May 20 at 1:30PM in the Jacksonville Public Library. Meanwhile, MagnoliaFest 2007 will take place October 25-28 at Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL with early bird tickets are on sale now and a preliminary lineup to follow in the coming weeks.
