JazzFest is in full-swing and already a number of all-star jams have been lined up throughout the Big Easy. At 1 AM tonight (technically Friday morning), the Midnight Disturbers will perform at New Orleans Howlin’ Wolf. The supergroup features a number of city-vets and frequent visitors, including trombonist Big Sam Williams, Skerik, Galactics Ben Ellman and Stanton Moore, Dirty Dozen Brass Band sousaphone inventor Kirk Joseph, trombonists Troy Andrews and Mark Mullins and drummer Kevin O’Day.
