Once Again, the New York edition of this years Green Apple Music & Arts Festival will feature a number of free performances at the Green Apple Earth Fair (which will take place on Vanderbilt Avenue just outside Grand Central Station). Fridays spectacle will include Yes vocalist Jon Anderson joining the Paul Green School of Rock All-Stars for a set of Yes music. In addition, Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams will be part of the bill, with more Friday artists to be announced in the days to come. Saturday, meanwhile will offer performances by State Radio (featuring Dispatch guitarist Chad Urmston) as well as Assembly of Dust, who will be joined by a unnamed special guest musician. Again, additional artists will be confirmed for both days, and it is quite likely that some of performers who appeared at last years Earth Fair will be back this year. The Green Apple Music & Arts Festival is co-produced by Pete Shapiro and Relix, and the Green Apple Earth Fair will take place in partnership with Earth Day New York.
