Mike Gordon has long championed bluegrass and country music both in and out of the studio. The bassists latest project finds him making an appearance on country singer/activist Adrienne Youngs new album, Room To Grow. The former Phish member laid down his contributions in Levon Helm’s studio, where he was joined by another familiar face, Gordon Stone. Room To Grow will be released May 22 (though fans can preview select tracks on Young’s MySpace page).
