Umphreys McGees axe-men, Brendan Bayliss and Jake Cinninger, will perform their annual acoustic holiday show December 15 at Chicagos The Vic Theatre. As is tradition, the duo will line their setlist with special covers, stripped down Umphreys McGee originals, and special guests. On Wednesday Umphreys McGee also invited out a number of old acquaintances at Cincinnati, OHs Bogart’s. During the groups second set, Rays Music Exchange bassist Nick Blasky emerged for a Jimmy Stewart improvisation, while his bandmate, trumpeter Michael ‘Mad Dog’ Mavridoglou, appeared on It’s About That Time. Umphreys McGee will perform at Atlantas The Tabernacle tonight .
