On Monday night Scrapomatic played a opening slot before the Drew Emmitt Band at Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta. Mike Mattison and Paul Olsen performed an hour set before many of the bands southern supporters and extended family. The audience included Derek Trucks and Yonrico Scott, who also appear with Mattison in the Derek Trucks Band as well as Bruce Hampton, Tinsley Ellis, Susan Tedeschi and Doyle Bramhall II, who is currently touring with Trucks in Eric Claptons group. While Mattison and Olsen performed much of the night as a duo, the married tandem of Trucks and Tedeschi joined them briefly as well. This evening Scrapomatic will celebrate its latest release Alligator Love Cry at the Gravity Lounge in Charlottesville, VA.
