Last evening at the Gypsy Tea Room in Dallas, Galactic entered the home stretch of its Coup De Gras tour and invited a few familiar faces to the stage. Vocalist Teedy Boutte, who has joined the band on multiple occasions over the past few years, appeared for a few songs over the course of the show, including: Whole Lotta Love, Break in the Road and Never Called You Crazy. In addition, the Stooges Brass Band added some zest to the close of both sets as well as the encore, appearing on ‘It Ain’t What You Think’ and ‘Who Took the Happiness’ at the close of set one, ‘Baker’s Dozen’ at the end of set two and then on the ‘Built Like A Horse’ encore. Tonight, the two groups will perform again in Texas, at Houstons Meridian before returning to New Orleans and Tipitina’s on Saturday.
