Mountain of Venus, which has confirmed tour dates well into October, has announced that it will cease gigging due to the health of member Dave Gesualdo. Last week the bass player was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer and is preparing to begin treatments. Unfortunately, as with many musicians, Gesualso is not offered health insurance at the workplace, and the medical costs will likely be rather high. Some supportive bands and fans have already expressed interest in raising funds though benefit shows and events but anyone who wishes to help out should contact MoVs manager, Ted Feed: [email protected]
