The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, California will celebrate the music of New Orleans over the next three Fridays. Marcia Ball will perform this Friday the 9th, followed by The Radiators on the 16th and the Aaron Neville Quintet on the 23rd. The venue also will offer traditional New Orleans foods on these evenings with proceeds from these nights donated to the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund.
As for the aforementioned Radiators, the group will gig in California though September 18 and prior to the band’s two night stand at the Great American Ballroom this Friday and Saturday, keyboardist Ed Volker will perform a solo gig tonight at the Connecticut Yankee in San Francisco.
