Johnny ‘starrcatt’ Polanky and Ed McGee have recently signed on with another sextet. ekoostik hookah’s percussionist and vocalist/rhythm guitar player are now part of a collective known as One Under. The group emphasizes more of a jazz, afro-Cuban Latin and funk element than hookah, although at this point any such manifestations are relatively few and far between as Polansky and McGee have been busy with hookah performances, including one this evening at the Outpost in Kent, OH.
