On July 24, Zen will return to New York City. A follow-up to 2003s livetronica themed gathering, Zen II will bring a variety of electronic jambands to the New York nightclub EXIT2. The inaugural Zen took place at Webster Hall and featured the New Deal, Big in Japan, Ming + FS, Brothers Past and Sucker Punch—-a supergroup boasting members of the Disco Biscuits, Sound Tribe Sector 9 and the New Deal. JM2 and Brothers Past are the first acts confirmed for this years Zen. An all-star group itself, JM2 is comprised of the New Deals Jamie Shields, the Allys Mike Greenfield and the Disco Biscuits Marc Brownstein and Jon Gutwillig.
