While Theresa Andersson grew in Sweden she maintains respect for the quintessential American protest artist and folk singer Woody Guthrie. Andersson has been opening dates for Vince Herman, Rob Wasserman and Jim Page on the current Spirit of Guthrie Tour. In addition, she has been appearing over the course of the evening contributing both vocals and her signature violin to the mix. The four artists will pick it up again tomorrow night at New Yorks Tribeca Rock club with the tour scheduled to continue through April 2 at the Brandy House. After this, Andersson will return to newfound home in New Orleans for dates in late April.
